State of the Superteam: June 2022

A quick overview of what we got up to in June

SuperteamDAO is a community of builders creating the talent layer for the Solana ecosystem. We currently have 160 members including devs, designers, memers, writers, marketers, product managers, lawyers, and many more💪.

June has officially been a bear market month, but it has been yet another amazing month for us at Superteam. Why you ask? The community has been heads-down earning as a result of which our GDP crossed $500K.🔥

Wins of the Month:

Win #1: 3 OSS Contributions 🤝

1. Pratik Saria contributed to Solana Cookbook by integrating it with Jupiter.

2. Harsh contributed to Solana Cookbook which helps developers important Serum Dex v3's instructions from the client-side.

3. Anoushk, the OSS wizard, contributed an entire section that helps folks integrate Switchboard from Solana Cookbook AND made a contribution to xNFT

1. GitHacker 💻: GitHacker is an attempt to create an earning channel for developers in the era of the creator economy. It helps developers earn by contributing and completing bounties hosted by repository owners, developer advocates, and organizations.

2. D-Hire 💼: D-Hire is a transparent on-chain platform connecting organizations and individuals that eases onboarding and job hunting for degens.

   Led by: Abhijeet_psr

3. StellarSol 🪐: StellarSOL is a browser extension that enables buying from major E-commerce stores like Amazon, Flipkart, and Apple, directly from Phantom.

   Led by: Ujjwal

4. Ohana 🏕️: Ohana is a crowdsourcing platform that would target projects in the Solana ecosystem.

   Led by: 0xDeep

Win #4: 3 Projects Shipped 🚀

Despite the bear market, Superteam members shipped some amazing projects this month:

1. Truts.xyz💡: A Web3 community discovery platform.

2. Locus.so🛠: Community building tool for Web3 (Beta).

3. Wordcel✍️: Decentralised publishing stack (Early Beta).

Win #5: Won a Mission 👷🏼‍♂️

Pstake Marketing and Growth Mission 🖌️: Pstake is exploring the Solana ecosystem and recruited a team of Members and Contributors for growth and Marketing.

Win #6: SuperInterns 👶

This month, we launched the much-awaited “SuperIntern Program” which connects founders with the brightest and the most talented young people in Web3. We’ve currently partnered with 10+ projects like Chingari, Samudai, Atlantis and many more!

Member’s Spotlight: Hersh the Glasseater🔦

For the talent of the month, we have got Harsh, a glass eater who recently won the Talent Protocol Sponsorship for his Solana cookbook contribution. He was shortlisted from more than 400 applications and made it into the top 14 by winning a trip to Paris.
