A quick overview of what we got up to in May
SuperteamDAO is a community of builders creating the talent layer for the Solana ecosystem. We currently have 160 members including devs, designers, memers, writers, marketers, product managers, lawyers, and many more💪.

It’s been an explosive month for us! The vibes were immaculate at the Bangalore Hacker House, our community won prizes at the global Riptide hackathon, and a number of other projects shipped 🔥

Wins of the Month:
Win #1: Bangalore Solana Hacker House 👩💻
⚡️ 6 days of hacking & mentoring
⚡️ 650+ builders in attendance
⚡️ 78 teams presented on Demo Day
This was the largest Solana Hacker House to date, and we were thrilled to be a part of it. Our personal highlight was producing our first-ever public Community Call, which was viewed by nearly 5,000 people live on Youtube (here’s the recording in case you missed it). Win #2: Riptide Winners 🌊
The Riptide Global Hackathon was the largest Solana hackathon yet, and we’re thrilled to share that two projects by community members grabbed two prizes:

👉 Slide finishes 2nd at Riptide [DAO Track]🎉
Win #3: GARI 🤝 Superteam - $100K Grant Program
Chingari is the largest on-chain social graph in Web3. Through the GARI DAO, they aim to help creators everywhere better connect, engage and monetize their audiences. In order to make Solana the chain of choice for creators, Gari DAO is sponsoring a $100,000 grant pool to fund anyone building things that can grow the creator economy.
To further cement the partnership with Superteam, Gari has created a first-of-its-kind Community Advisory Board (CAB) consisting of Superteam experts like Abbas, Saumya, Yash, Raj, Shashank, Shuvam, Hersh, Pratik — led by Dr. Prakash!

Win #4: Superteam Members Go Full-Time Web3🧑💻
The talent inflow into Web3 is very real, and Superteam members are leading the charge. Over the past few weeks, we’ve had 6 members jump into the deep end:
Anmol Kumar joins Crowdpad as a Product Designer.
Dr. Prakash joins Chingari as a Lead AI and Blockchain Architect.
Anmol Maini joins Stytch as an Engineer.
Rahul Bhadoriya joins Polygon as Lead Brand Designer.
Pratik Saria joins Metaplex as Community Developer.
S Kiran joined Cykura as a Full Stack Dev
Win #5: Completed 9 Bounties 💰

Win #6: Won 4 Missions 👷🏼♂️
Missions are freelance gigs designed for individuals or liquid teams to accomplish in a predetermined time frame. A few examples from May:
Gari Mining Development Mission ⛏️: This gig is to enable the development along with GTM strategy of daily emission of Gari Tokens to Chingari users depending upon certain criteria.
Led by: Siddharth RaoCrowdpad Development Mission 🧑🏼💻: This mission focused on creating a non-custodial/multi-sig wallet along with functions like staking, social tokens, and quadratic voting using Flutter, Rust, and Javascript.

Superteam Homepage Mission 🎨: A website development mission to redesign the existing website using new Superteam brand assets in Webflow.
Led by: Akshay KhuranaCapx Advisory Committee Board 👨🏻🏭: Capx is a marketplace for private allocations and institutional deal-flow. The mission is to put together a board of community advisors and help them launch in the Solana ecosystem with business and marketing strategies.

Win #7: Issued 2 Instagrants ⚡
Anchor UI⚓: Anchor UI is a Dev Tooling for all the Solana Devs out there who Code in Rust using the Anchor Framework.
Led by: Pratik Saria
Raid 🚢: Raid is creating a framework that investors and applications use to make abstracted investment options with ease and delegate heavy-lifting.

Win #8: Crossed $400K in Community GDP 💵
Our North Star metric is the Community GDP - the total amount of money earned by our community through the opportunities created by the DAO. In May, we crossed $440K as total cumulative earnings🤯! This was all possible because of the hard work of our talented members, who do brilliant work via Bounties, Missions, and Instagrants.
Member’s Spotlight 🔦
Dr. Prakash also known as “Good Doctor” in Superteam is a superstar builder who has contributed to around 5 projects at the same time and now leads Web3 in Chingari. He is an amazing doctor who surprisingly is a glass eater and a leader who has some crazy wizard skills in managing projects and operations.
