What is Superteam?

Superteam is a network of individuals and companies building products in the Solana ecosystem. Simply put, it is a gated discord server for those who satisfy the membership criteria. There’s no treasury, take-rate/commissions or a token sale. From its inception, Superteam has chosen to be a collective of sovereigns over a sovereign collective. All members may participate as much as or as little as they wish, including the core team. Any revenue generated is captured by the individual members or teams that self-organise and win a bounty, secure a grant or venture funding for their ideas.

The community is the product. And members have exclusive access to the product.

Superteam Germany 🇩🇪

One of the two markets launched in Nov, Superteam Germany - led by Tamar - started off by sponsoring hackatum, the hackathon of the Technical University of Munich.

They’ve since launched a series of developer events to create a catchment area for the most talented developers in the region and help onboard them to Solana. You can sign up for the IRL events here.

Yep, Nov was a big month with 3 new market launches, super excited to share that Superteam Turkey is now live!

Led by Gulcan, Navennet & Ezgi in partnership with Patika.dev. They’ve launched a self-paced learning program for young developers to learn and build on Solana. It is accepting applications till 1st Feb 2023, click here to apply.

Superteam Vietnam 🇻🇳

Improving the underlying protocol. The apps are for bootstrapping users and developers, the real magic is in their protocol which aims to be the layer0 for all social interactions. ONDC stands for Open Network of Digital Commerce. This is a national initiative to unbundle e-commerce from platform-centric to protocol first. In this essay we talk about why this is a vital digital public good and the many ways that crypto can set it up for success.

Specifically, we’re inviting grant applications from anyone who wants to build an ONDC gateway using Solana. A gateway is a key piece of infrastructure that matches buyer search queries with seller items - and for the protocol to be trusted, it needs to be transparent and neutral.
